The Cost & Pricing tab keep track of your historical changes to an individual Inventory item’s purchase cost over time.
We can see that from 1/1/2015 – 05/15/2016 eggs were bought in quantities of 3 dozen and cost $7.28 per 3 dozen. We marked the shelf unit (how we use/sell the inventory item) as each so TPP will automatically calculate that each egg used/sold cost us approximately .20 cents.
That cost was updated to $7.64 per 3 dozen (approximately .21 cents) on 05/16/2016 and updated to $8.23 (approximately .23 cents) on 10/12/2017.
TPP also keeps track of the Vendor you assigned for that timeframe/cost.
