Packlist Items
Each inventory item can have other inventory items associated with it to auto-populate on the pack list when the item is added as a line item on an event.
In this example, we have set TPP to automatically add several items when a Chafer is added to an event in the Equipment section under Rentals or Other.
- Chafer is set to add 1 Chafer to the Pack List for every 1 Chafer added to an event
- We added the Chafer as a Pack List item on itself in order to show the Chafers on the Pack List also, so they are overlooked while the event is being packed
- Matches are set to add 1 total, regardless of how many Chafers are added to an event
- Serving Spoon is set to add 2% of the quest count regardless of how many Chafers are added to an event
- Example: If the guest count is 100 the the Pack List will show 2 Serving Spoons to be sent
- Sterno is set to send 2 sternos per 1 Chafer added to the event
Costed: If you inventory item is Costed, you can have TPP automatically count the cost in the overall Event cost by checking the Costed box
Note: If the item is reusable (like a stainless steel Chafer) you would probably not want to check this box. Items like Matches and Sterno are one use items that have hard costs associated with sending them for an event if they are used.
