PLU 103: Service Style Associations

Now that you have an Always Pack list you are able to set up defaults to create Service Style Associations where you tell the system to remove certain things based on the event’s assigned service style.

Example: You have Ties for your Servers/Bartenders on your Always Pack List.

If you have an order that is assigned the Service Style of Delivery or Pick-Up then you are probably not going to want to include a tie in the pack list since there would be no staff to wear it.

Taking the time to set up these exceptions will save you hours of work in the future.

Go to Inventory > Pack List Service Style Associations and change the first field to Always Pack Items to load your default Always Pack list you created in the last step.

In this example we have 7 items that are set to Always Pack on events.

Setting up Service Styles

The Service Style field will default to your first Service Style alphabetically. Click the drop down to choose a style to edit.

Service Style Associations Conclusion

Load up your default Always Pack List with anything you can think of that you might need (or more importantly, forget) when implementing events. It is very easy to remove them from the specific event’s Pack List before the event date and Service Style Exceptions will also help manage what is/isn’t added.
