Menu Items – Quick Cost
Activating Quick Cost on your menu items allows you to provide a quick estimation of how much it costs to prepare a menu item.
In order to activate Quick Cost, go to Menu Items > Full Search in the toolbar, and locate your menu item in the list.
Once you are in the Menu Item, change the dropdown from No to Yes under Activate Quick Cost.
Select “Save“.
Now that you’ve activated Quick Cost, you can add in your Quick Cost amount to your menu item portion by selecting “+ New Segment”
And adding in your Quick Cost amount,
which will update the Quick Cost of your Menu Item’s portion amounts
***REMINDER***
When activating Quick Cost on your menu items, you are no longer using your recipe ingredients to calculate the cost.
