Contact View

The Contact View is where you can see all the info related to a specific contact in your TPP database.

Contact View

Any information may be edited here and there are a few more tabs/fields available:

Main Tab

Note: While First Name, Last Name, and Company are all marked as required fields, only one of the fields must be entered to fulfill the requirement. 

  • First Name: Enter the contact’s first name
  • Last Name: Enter the contact’s last name
  • Company: Enter the contact’s Company name (if needed)

Note: None of the fields below are required.

  • Job Title: Enter the contact’s job title for your reference
  • Birth Date: Enter the contact’s birthday for your reference
  • Overdue Balance: Overdue balance based on Event Statuses assigned to check against in Profile & Preferences
  • Address Line 1 and Line 2: Enter the street number and name and any unit or apartment designations
  • City: Enter the contact’s city
  • State: Enter the contact’s state
  • Postal Code: Enter the contact’s zip or postal code
  • Account #: If your company assigns contacts account number, you can reference it here
  • Authorize.Net Profile Id: This field is automatically populated when your account is connected to Authorize.net for credit card processing
  • Work #: Enter the contact’s work phone number
  • Mobile #: Enter the contact’s mobile phone number
  • Home #: Enter the contact’s home phone number
  • Fax #: Enter the contact’s fax number
  • Email: Enter the contact’s email address here

Note: Required if you want to email them directly from TPP

  • Website: Enter your contact’s company or personal website address
  • Contact Type: Assign a contact type to use for organization in your database and reporting
  • Payment Terms: Choose a payment term to automatically assign on all new events created
  • Tax Location: Choose a default tax location to assign to any new events created for the contact
  • Tax Exempt #: Any characters entered here will make newly created events default to the Tax Exempt rules for the contact’s assigned Tax Location
  • How Found/ Referral Source: Keep track of how the client originally found your company
  • Active: Change this to No to deactivate the client and prevent any future events from being created for them
  • Owner: Assign someone on your sales team as the main point of contact for the client
  • Directions: If you have the contact’s address entered, you can easily insert directions from either Google Maps or MapQuest to print on delivery reports

General Notes

  • General Notes: Make note of contact service/delivery preferences or any other info you’d like to save for reference
  • Special Diet: Make note of any preferences or allergies for the contact

Credit Cards

In order to save credit card information for your client, you must have an integrated credit card account connected to TPP.

  • Card Type: Visa, Mastercard, etc.
  • Card Number: Only last 4 digits will show here
  • Name on Card: Will show the cardholder’s name
  • Address: Will show the card billing address
  • Default?: Allows you to designate a specific card as their default if they have multiple on file with you
  • +New Credit Card: Add credit card information into your integrated credit card processor account from the drop-down link

Tasks & Notes

See all Tasks and Notes pertaining to the Contact or create new ones for your team.

Event History

Easily see all the events for the contact and view an abbreviated list of menus they’ve enjoyed

Opportunities

Did the client mention that they just had an annual party for all 200 employees?

Make a note here to follow up with them later to try and book them with your company next year.
